You don't need a meditation room. You need a corner. Somewhere the eye can rest.
Choose a small surface — a windowsill, a low shelf, the top of a chest of drawers. Place three things on it: a candle, something natural (a stone, a feather, a flower), and a small image or piece of paper that means something to you.
Light the candle every morning for a week. Sit for five minutes. That's it. The space teaches you what it wants to be.
The mistake is to wait until the right moment. The space makes the moment.
