I moved to Ibiza for a season. That was six years ago.
The island is famous for the wrong reasons. Beneath the noise of Ibiza Town, there's a quieter place: the inland villages, the salt flats, the cliffs of the north coast that catch the wind in winter. Locals call certain places "thin" — places where it feels easier to drop into stillness.
I think it's a combination of things. The geology — Es Vedrà sits on what may be one of the most magnetic spots in the Mediterranean. The light — long, low, and gold for most of the year. And the long lineage of people coming here to retreat, slow down, and listen.
When clients come to Ibiza for a session, something has usually already shifted by the time they reach me. The island starts the work. I just hold the room.
